After producing the pictures for our Digipak & Magazine Advert, I thought that it would be best to create rough sketches of potential designs to help establish which pictures to use and where all the finer details would fit into the space available.
I had to ensure that the magazine advert held all the conventions to a typical music advert within a magazine. Some of the conventions included:
-Album name
-Artist
-Release Date
-Record Label
-& If possible, a picture of the album cover
To make our magazine advert successful, the pictures chosen had to be effective to the target audience as well as being clear and that all the elements of the advert were visible to all audiences.
